Welcome to BA, that is, Bookaholics Anonymous. For those of you who don’t know our procedures, lets all go around and introduce our selves and our vices.
Hello, my name is Sam, aka Rivermoose and I…have a book addiction.
Let’s get on with the meeting.
I was tagged by the lovely, wonderful Orangutan Librarian who has a magnificent blog, and you should definitely check it out!
What do you like about buying new books?
How is this a question?
Its the having new books to read.
Duh.
How often do you buy new books?
Every few months or so I have a decent-ish haul. It varies though. Depends on money, depends on releases. Depends if I can make someone drive me to Book Barn.
Bookstore or online book shopping – Which do you prefer?
Online. Its easier to practice self control when the price is staring at you the whole time, and books are cheaper. (I also tend to get distracted by the other books when I go to physical bookstores, its a problem.)
Do you have a favourite bookshop?
We have a second hand book store near me called “Book Barn” which I love. And I love buying books on Amazon, their SO cheap. Also, Book Outlet.
Do you pre-order books?
Sometimes, but not usually. Its more expensive to pre-order.
Do you have a monthly book buying limit?
Not really. I don’t buy books every month, because I usually spend my allowance on stuff like movies and doing other things with friends, and more recently concert tickets, but mostly because I am limited by my allowance, I don’t need to give myself a limit.
Though, October and December I go crazy, because Birthday and Christmas money…
Book buying bans – Are they something for you?
Not really. I have no constant expenses, so I am really only limited by my own allowance (perks of being in high school!).
How big is your wishlist?
Big. Like…several pages on Amazon and over 1000 book on my Goodreads TBR.
Which three books from your wishlist do you wish to own NOW?
First three on my TBR I thought of. Though of course, there are many more.
Anyway, can you tell how much of a nerd I am?
To spread the shame – I tag:
And anyone else who wants to get their secret shame off their chest, leave me a comment down below and feel free to do this tag!
YAS to Sherlock!!! I’ve seen that book and have been wanting it for awhile. 😀 Thanks for tagging me, I hope to do it soon, but it’ll take awhile. (The perks of being in school.)

I know right? I am avoiding homework as we speak…
And take as long as you need, we both know it takes me months to do the tags you tag me in! So turnabouts fair play.

Ah homework, I haven’t done mine at all. I’m so unproductive, haha. I’m probably going to fail all my classes now. I’m a procrastinator when it comes to school, most of the time.
I’ll get working on that tag soon!

I am also a procrastinator.
To an extreme degree.
I haven’t started any of my large amount of work and am instead watching Brooklyn 99…
