Like many, many other people in November, I will be participating (or at least trying to participate) in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). If you are unfamiliar with the concept, the basic premise is this: You must write 50,000 words of a first draft of your novel within the month. Averaging out to around 1,667 words a day.
I have done NaNoWriMo the past two years, and both times I failed miserably. Which is why this year I am,
1:Trying again and
2:Making an outline/plan.
So, because October will be my month of outlining/planning, I figured I’d share exactly how I’m doing that, and possibly catalogue my NaNo journey here on this blog.
Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo?
