The Candy Book Tag

I love doing tags, and this time I was tagged by Stephanie @ Adventures Of A Bibliophile, whose blog is wonderful, she’s an amazing writer and you should go check her out!

Halloween is tomorrow, so that makes today perfect for this tag, so let’s get to it!

Apples – Ah. Healthy food. It is deep, meaningful, and probably won a lot of awards but, um, it really isn’t your thing.

The Count Of Monte Cristo. Its the sort of classic most people seem to actually enjoy, and in fact love. But I could not get through it. It bored me and physically pained me. I got by with spark notes and to this day it is the only school assigned book that I did not read.

Milk Chocolate – This is a book you’d recommend to absolutely EVERYONE.

I don’t believe in books that EVERYONE enjoys. That being said, I get almost offended when people say they wouldn’t even try to read Harry Potter…

Black Jellybeans – Why do these exist??

Confession?

I am one of the weird people who LOVE these…

That being said, I’ll say Anthem by Ayn Rand for this. I hate that book and it has no place in the world except to irritate me…

Chocolate Kisses – Awww this novel had the best romance.

I’ll give a more recent answer for this one.

Eva and Zenn from Zenn Diagram were the cutest. I read the arc and gave it 5 stars I really loved it.

Gummy Spiders – Eek! You made sure to check under your bed every night for a week after reading this scary one.

I don’t really have an answer for this, books don’t give me nightmares, never have, not even when I read Scary Stories in elementary school.

Most scary movies don’t even give me nightmares.

Though the movie for Misery (based off the book by Stephen King) freaked me the hell out so I guess that counts.

Ghosts and demons are entertaining but don’t give me nightmares. Crazy people freak me out because they exist.

Jumbo Lollipop – This took you forever to get through, but hey! You did it!

I’m going to go with Breaking Dawn (yes, like the last book from Twilight) because I was nine when I read it and at the time it was the only none Harry Potter book over 150 pages I had ever finished (and I think its longer than any Harry Potter book was even).

I just couldn’t think of another answer for this one…

Cotton Candy – Admit it, you loved this when you were younger (you probably still do). Think children’s or MG fiction.

A book I recently found on my shelf that I LOVED as a kid, that not many people mention (or, in fact, no one I’ve seen mention at all) is The Timelight Stone.

I mus have read it a dozen times, but I never got to read the other books…
