Sword Art Online

About the Show:

In the year 2022, thousands of people get trapped in a new virtual MMORPG and the lone wolf player, Kirito, works to escape.

This is one of my favorite action animes. Great plot, great pacing, great art style. The romance is really raw and real, and all the characters are fleshed out really well. I’ve only seen season 1 though.

You’re Lie In April

About the Show:

A piano prodigy who lost his ability to play after suffering a traumatic event in his childhood is forced back into the spotlight by an eccentric girl with a secret of her own.

One of the best romance/slice of life anime I’ve watched. Its one season, amazingly well done, and will make you cry so much but its so worth it.

Milo Murphy’s Law

About the Show:

An animated comedy adventure series that follows 13-year-old Milo Murphy, the fictional great-great-great-great grandson of the Murphy’s Law namesake.

Ok, this and the rest below are cartoons, not anime, but I didn’t feel like making separate posts.

This show is pretty funny; made by the same people who made Phineas and Ferb, and has both Brett Dalton and Mark Hamill as recurring voice actors. Also, Doctor Who references. Its fun.

Star Vs. The Forces of Evil

About the Show:

Intergalactic warrior Star Butterfly arrives on Earth to live with the Diaz family. She continues to battle villains throughout the universe and high school, mainly to protect her extremely powerful wand, an object that still confuses her.

This is another fun cartoon. Its creative, and funny, and I watch it with my sister. Season 2 is much better than season 1 I’d say though.

Gravity Falls

About the Show:

Twin siblings Dipper and Mabel Pines spend the summer at their uncle’s tourist trap in the enigmatic town of Gravity Falls.

This starts off as a more basic kids show, but it definitely became a cartoon geared more towards teens/older audiences. Its great, clever, and a little scary. One of my favorite shows period.
