Official Synopsis:

Imprisoned, the almighty Thor finds himself in a lethal gladiatorial contest against the Hulk, his former ally. Thor must fight for survival and race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home and the Asgardian civilization.

Ragnarok is the third Thor movie, and is set after Age of Ultron, probably sometime around Captain America: Civil War. Its part of Marvel Phase 3.

This movie follows Thor, back in Asgard, confronting Loki, trying to save Asgard for Hela, who in the MCU is his sister, and finding Bruce on an alien planet.

Ragnarok is funnier than a lot of the other Marvel movies, it takes its self less seriously. More similar to Antman than some of the other Thor movies, but I loved it. Some jokes fell a little flat, but it was overall hilarious. I loved Loki’s character development especially. Though I’m still upset they cut the scene confirming Valkiere’s bisexuality.

This one was pretty hit or miss with a lot of Marvel fans, but its a fun, enjoyable movie.
