(Fuck A) Silver Lining

Best Line:

Now I’m dodging, dodging
Everything you think that I’m not
Archetype of television
Was lost in thought but held the vision, hey

Thoughts:

I think this one has been out long enough for us all to agree its great.

Say Amen (Saturday Night)

Best Line:

And if I try to change my life one more day
There would be nobody else to save
And I can’t change into a person I don’t wanna be, so

Thoughts:

A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hey Look Ma, I Made It

Best Line:

Friends are happy for me
Or they’re honeysuckle phonies
Then they celebrate my medals
Or they wanna take my trophies
Some are loyal soldiers
While these other thorns are rosy
And if you never know who you can trust
Then trust me, you’ll be lonely, oh

Are you ready for the sequel?
Ain’t you ready for the latest?
In the garden of evil
I’m gonna be the greatest

Thoughts:

One of the best songs on the album. Weirdest music video Panic! has ever made, and I’m including Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time.

High Hopes

Best Line:

Mama said
Burn your biographies
Rewrite your history
Light up your wildest dreams
Museum victories, everyday

Thoughts:

AMAZING!

Roaring 20s

Best Line:

My tell-tale heart’s a hammer in my chest
Cut me a silk-tied tourniquet

This is my roaring, roaring 20s
I don’t even know me
Roll me like a blunt ’cause I wanna go home
Roll me like a blunt ’cause I wanna go home
My roaring, roaring 20s
I don’t even know me
Roll me like a blunt ’cause I wanna go home
Roll me like a blunt ’cause I want, I wanna go home

Thoughts:

I know its not the most popular, but I really loved it.

Dancing’s Not a Crime

Best Line:

You’re a sweet talker, but darlin’ whatcha gonna say now?
The midnight marauders, the higher never come down, never come down

Thoughts:

Fun song.

One Of The Drunks

Best Line:

Every weekend with your friends
Every weekday when it ends
Damn it’s all good, I guess

Thoughts:

Very catchy, not my favorite.

The Overpass

Best Line:

Sketchy girls and lipstick boys
(Sketchy girls and lipstick boys)
Troubled love and high speed noise
I know you wanna meet me, meet me
At the overpass, at the overpass

Thoughts:

This sounds like a Vices and Virtues song and I’m here for it.

King Of The Clouds

Best Line:

Imagination, take me somewhere I don’t know
I’m lost but I better find it alone
King of the clouds, of the clouds

Thoughts:

Brenden’s voice in this one.

Old Fashioned

Best Line:

It’s the false side of hope where believers concede
And there’s only memories when it’s over

Thoughts:

Decent, probably my least favorite.

Dying In LA

Best Line:

Every face along the boulevard
Is a dreamer just like you
You looked at death in a tarot card
And you saw what you had to do

Thoughts:

Great song! Very depressing.
