The Mystery Blogger Award

I was tagged by Cat On The Bookshelf!

Mystery Blogger Award

The Mystery Blogger Award was started by Okoto Enigma as a way to discover new blogs. I cannot explain it as well as she does, so I will quote her:

“Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.

Here are the rules:

  • Put the award logo/image on your blog
  • List the rules
  • Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog
  • Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well
  • Tell your readers 3 things about yourself
  • You have to nominate 10 – 20 people
  • Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog
  • Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify)
  • Share a link to your best post(s)

Three things about myself:

  1. I am a junior in college and a neuroscience major.
  2. I want to go to medical school and write/publish novels.
  3. I want to narrate audiobooks someday.

My best posts are:

My five questions:

1 – Besides what you normally blog about, what is one other thing you are passionate about?

I blog about most of my passions, but I don’t talk about disability advocacy or lab work (I work with rats in a neuroscience lab).

2 – If all expenses were taken care of, where in the world would you want to go?

Everywhere. I love traveling.

My top bucket list is right now: Tokyo, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Rome, Venice, Paris, and Havana.

3 – Would you rather be a dragon or have a dragon? (This is my weird question.)

Have dragon.

4 – If you could speak a language other than the one(s) you know, which would it be and why?

I’ve wanted to learn Japanese since I was a kid. I am however terrible with languages (I’m barely fluent in Spanish, despite it being my first language).

5 – What chance encounter changed your life forever?

In thee 7th grade, pretty much all the “gifted” kids got invited to apply to the DUKE TIP program. Most people’s parents ignored it. Mine didn’t. I passed the application and randomly got assigned to the Davidson College summer session, in the Brain, Intelligence and Creativity class.

I am now a junior neuroscience major at Davidson College.

My nominees:

  • Anyone who feels like doing this tag! (Answer the questions I did, I guess)
