I actually didn’t manage to read much in 2022 – most of my reading revolved around school (MCAT books and assigned reading) and short comics. But regardless, hear are some of my favorite reads!
Demon in the Wood is a graphic novel prequel of Shadow and Bone. I really loved the art, and while the story is short, its a nice addition to the series.
I read all the currently released Heartstopper books (as of January 2022) and loved them! I am currently waiting for volume 5. While there are some heavy themes touched on, the books are mostly fun and sweet.
I love the world-building in this series. The art is precious and the story is sweet.
This is a touching memoir about grief. I read it for class, but it stuck with me.
This is a memoir about the author’s life in medical school and residency. It is a really engaging memoir and I recommend it to anyone interested in medicine.
