The Christmas Tag

Monday’s are my tag days, and since its Christmas (or it will be, I’m scheduling this) I thought a Christmas tag was appropriate! (I found this online somewhere, can’t remember where).

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

In my family, we have dinner on Christmas eve (noche buena) as a family, and then we open presents on Christmas morning. Immediate family presents at home, and then the rest of the day is spent at our grandmother’s house to open the rest of the presents.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

Not a specific one. All my christmases have been good. And mostly revolve around reading new books, and fighting open toys for the little ones.

4. Favourite festive food?

Pumpkin pie, the christmas ham, yuca…

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

I’ve gotten a camera, a 3DS, a pandora bracelet… I don’t really have a favorite all time gift.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

Those christmas cookie candles!

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Dinner as a family at my grandmother’s house, with all the cousins, aunts and uncles.

8. What tops your tree?

Some years an angel, some years a star, some years a santa hat because everything else is too annoying to set up and untangle.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I mean, I wanted pokemon to be real, and I wanted a (big) brother but neither of those things are physically possible and I was five so…

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?

Family and time of from school.

I Tag:
And whoever else wants to do this tag!

Easter Book Tag

This tag was created by Rosie The Reader on Booktube. I wasn’t tagged, but…well, today is Easter. It seemed fitting. (Ignore the backlog of tags I haven’t done – which is what I’m doing).

I’ve gotten so little of my spring break reading done… But I went to the Panic! At the Disco concert last night and had a blast so all is good! So tired now…

On to the tag!

Rabbits – A book you wish would multiply, or have a sequel.

Egg – A book that surprised you.

Hunt – A book that was hard for you to get your hands on.

Lambs – A children’s story you still enjoy.

Spring – A book with a cover that reminds you of spring.

Rising from the dead – a book from a deceased author

Baskets – A book in your wishlist right now.

Candy – A book that is sweet.

I’m lazy, so I tag everyone who sees this/celebrates Easter!

St. Patrick’s Day Tag

This tag made by Bookaflix Taylor on booktube – I wasn’t tagged, but in the spirit of the holiday…

St. Patrick’s Day  Your favourite green coloured book.

I own virtually no green books – but this is obviously a good one.

Corned Beef and Cabbage – A book that made you hungry.

This book describes food so much – especially cake, it makes me hungry.

Four Leaf Clover – A book or item that was a rare, good luck find.

I found a copy of this signed by BOTH authors at Target, and I was so psyched!

Irish Whiskey – A book so bad that you would need a drink to get over it.

I read this for school, it was no enjoyable.

Irish Dancing – A book so good, it made you want to dance in excitement.

Ireland – A book that made you want travel to a different country.

Greece and Italy are two countries highest on my bucket list.

The Pub – A meeting place in a book you’d love to go to.

Monmouth with the Raven Boys, especially my baby Noah, yes please.

I’m not tagging anyone, since its late in the day and its a tag that really, should only be done today, anyone is welcome to do it if they want though!

Dashing Through the Snow Book Tag

Dashing Through the Snow Book Tag

I was tagged by Raquel @rakioddbooks to do the Dashing Through the Snow Book Tag. I love the holiday season, and am glad I got to do a book tag to celebrate!

The Rules:

  1. Thank The Curator (Astra @ A Stranger’s Guide To Novels)
  2. Tag 5 People To Spread The Christmas Joy!
  3. Have Fun!

Name a book you would like to see under your Christmas tree.

I really want the Harry Potter Page to Screen book and the Agent Carter: Season One Declassified book. I don’t know, I’ve been into those “making of” things lately…

A book you’ll be reading during the Christmas Season.

The only themed/wintery book I’ve reading over break is “Odd and the Frost Giants” by Neil Giamen, which is more of a novella really. But, yeah…

Favourite Christmas Movie.

I like the ABC Family chhirstmas movies, and I really loved Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer as a kid.

Do you like snow?

Never seen it, wouldn’t know. But I tend to think 80 degrees warrants a hoodie and jeans so… (Sorry, by-product of living in southern Florida my whole life)

Name a character you you would like to spend your Christmas day with.

Can I just say I want to go to Hogwarts? Cause that’s what I’m going with.

To give or to receive?

Both. Both is good. (points if you guess the movie reference, it’s one of my favorites)

What fictional place would you like to spend Christmas at?

Oh. I didn’t realize this was a question. Hogwarts. We’re just gonna go with Hogwarts again, okay? Okay.

Fondest Christmas memory?

This is more of a tradition but every christmas eve my family celebrates noche buena and we sing happy birthday to “baby jesus” and then me and my cousins ditch the adults to play board games outside til midnight (or untl we get threatened to get in the car/ go to bed or else santa won’t come but this has died down as we have gotten older).

Can you say Christmas tree ten times FAST  in a row (pronouncing it correctly!)

Not at all…

I really enjoyed this tag! I hope everyone all having a wonderful holiday break, no matter what you celebrate!
I guess I’ll tag:
